Biography:Federico Andre Swett Larrea, professionally known as Fede Swett, is an Ecuadorian filmmaker working as a film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, and editor. He holds a degree in Film Direction from the Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil, where he developed a strong foundation in directing, screenwriting, production, and cinematic language. His work focuses on building strong visual narratives by combining technical precision, aesthetics, and storytelling, with a particular passion for screenwriting and developing stories for the screen. He has worked as Director of Photography on short films and music videos such as Fifty-one More (Cincuenta y uno más), Locked (Encerrado), and Dark Corner (Rincón Oscuro), as well as Producer on Staining the City (Manchando la Ciudad). His experience also includes editing and various creative roles across university and independent productions, allowing him to approach filmmaking from different perspectives. He is the founder and director of HASUKĪ PRODUCTIONS, an independent production company focused on creating cinematic content with a distinctive visual identity. In 2026, he made his directorial and screenwriting debut with Don’t Forget Me (No me olvides), a psychological drama short film centered on grief, memory, and loss. The project brought together his experience in writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and production, marking an important step in establishing his own voice as a filmmaker.
